On the topic of Chris Christie, I would like to take this time to say that I really, really get angered when people make fun of him for his weight. You’re just stooping to below his level. My dad was a politician for eight years and he’s bigger than Chris Christie. So I really, truly take offense to that. Weight has nothing to do with being a competent, decent human being.

BUT, when you go and VETO a human right for a minority group, saying that it needs to be a referendum… and then comparing that statement to THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT. I have lost all respect for you.

If you put a MINORITY GROUP up for a MAJORITY VOTE, we can guess what happens. That’s why it’s important to have legislators who are willing to defend minority groups. If they did a referendum for civil rights in the south… well, we wouldn’t be anywhere, would we?
